Hello, everyone, and welcome to the amazing world of Project Bounded!
About me
I'm Fireblade, a game creator and 3D artist with an ambitious vision: to change the world of adult gaming. Not because it needs to change, but because I want to make a difference in it through my work and my approach to making and sharing the worlds I create with everyone.
Since 2019, I've started this journey and experienced everything, from DAZ rendering to Ren'Py coding, to Unreal Engine programming, 3D modelling and, since it's a thing lately, Artificial Intelligence, with all its intricate details. All with one goal in mind: bring the best and latest technologies into my work and share them in a user-friendly package with everyone.
Today, all the above are gathered under one large-scale, open-world action RPG called Project Bounded.
Right from the start, there is one key element to my vision that needs to be acknowledged: I want this game to be FREE and available for everyone. This is the reason why you won't see any special perks related to the Patreon tiers, except for the most expensive one, the Developers Bay. And that's because here it's targeted towards more advanced users who want or need assets from the game to use on their own projects. It's more of a marketplace for creators, rather than a casual patron tier. At some point, with your help, I will offer something for the other tiers, but keep in mind that it will only be symbolic.
Why, you might ask? Because I see it as a community project and don't think something like this should be monetised, but rather supported if it's worth someone's time and money. I don't see my work as a product on a shelf, I see it as art, made with passion, hard work and dedication. Financial gain is only a consequence related to the quality of that work, not a goal.
If someone likes what I do and shares my vision, they will spare something. And that "something" is always debatable. A 3$ pledge for a supporter might be a bigger effort than a 10$ pledge for another. That's why I give everyone the option to choose if they want to support this project, the option to choose how much they can spare and, last but not least, the option to enjoy it for free if they don't want to reach their wallets...
In conclusion, supporting this project means, first, an appreciation of my work and, second, an act of goodwill and support for the others in the community. Also, regardless of the amount, it will be a substantial contribution to making this project a reality. And for that, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you!
